Our First Ramaḍān Protest, Don’t Miss It
As the first Asharah of Ramaḍān draws to a close and the second Asharah begins, we have a wonderful opportunity to take part in the first Ramaḍān protest here in Blackburn outside Barclays bank.
The genocide in Gaza and Palestine has continued all the way till now, including during this holy month of Ramaḍān. There seems to be no end in sight. The double standards and hypocrisy of the West is crystal clear.
They have given Israel the green light to try and wipe out Gaza. But we will not let this happen, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. Let’s have each and every one of you outside Barclays this coming Saturday 23rd March at 11am prompt, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
In the state of fasting, during the Asharah of forgiveness, let’s not remain silent sitting in our houses expecting miracles without sacrifices. We need to come out and raise our voices against the injustices taking place and call out the supporters of the genocide like Barclays.
Remember, victory came in the Battle of Badr which took place in Ramaḍān. If we want victory, we are going to have to come out. It’s a Saturday, come yourselves, bring your children, old and young, and share this message with all your contacts.
May Almighty Allāh grant complete victory to our Palestinian brothers, sisters and children, Āmeen.
