السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It’s Tuesday 26th January 2021.
Let’s continue with the theme of ‘Golden Advice to Married Couples (or About to Get Married)‘.
Yesterday, in part 3 of this 4-part special series, the 2-minute video clip focused on the importance of ensuring we carry out our Nikāḥ in the way shown by our Holy Prophet, صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Unfortunately today, we seem to give preference to culture and tradition. Simply because the same rites and actions have been carried out for generations, we feel it is an obligation upon us to carry out such actions. This should not be the case. Our perfect example is our beloved Prophet, صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Today, we move on to the final part, in which the 2-minute video clip reflects upon how to reconcile marital issues.
Rather than prolonging fallouts and arguments between couples, the best course of action is to understand your faults and mistakes, and to work towards rectifying your weaknesses.
Almighty Allāh keep all married couples always happy and smiling, Āmeen.
