Two ‘weeks in the company of Shaykh ul-Ḥadīth Mufti Sabīh Akhtar, مدظله العالی, Part 2
Mufti Ṣāḥib’s first programme took place at the Hulton Lane Centre of Excellency (HLCE) in Bolton. Hosted by Shaikh ‘Abdur Raḥīm Limbada, Mufti Ṣāḥib addressed the Thursday evening audience and participated in the Zikr Majlis that took place afterwards.
This slot at HLCE is usually reserved for our beloved spiritual guide Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Bilāl Ṣāḥib, مدظله العالی. Shaikh Bilāl is recovering from a heart attack and stroke. A humble request for very special Du’ās please. The following day was Jumu’ah.
Mufti Ṣāḥib was invited by Shaikh Ismā’īl Nākhuda Ṣāḥib of Preston to address the audience before Jumu’ah at the Jaame Masjid in Preston, one of the UK’s oldest Masaajid. After a short rest in the afternoon, Mufti Ṣāḥib attended the Bukhārī Sharīf Khatam of Madrasah Naqībul Islām & Madrasah Hidāyatul Banaat here in Blackburn.
The setting was Masjid-e-Tauheedul Islām, one of Blackburn’s most populated and vibrant Masajid, where the programme was hosted by Mufti Ibrāhīm Raja Ṣāḥib and Shaikh Suhail Manya Ṣāḥib,
Mufti Sabih gave a very moving & touching final lesson of Imām Bukhārī’s Saheeh Bukhārī. The gathering was blessed by a large turnout of both men and women, including lots of ‘Ulamā. This was the first time that Mufti Sabih officially completed the Bukhārī Sharīf here in the UK. To be continued…….
