Let’s talk about ‘3 important dates in March’ today.
As we are approaching Ramaḍān, it’s that time of the year when we start preparations for our annual charity presentations. As a well wisher of our charity, the Muslim Welfare Institute (MWI), you will have taken the opportunity to donate towards our projects during and after last Ramaḍān.
How were your donations utilised? What impact did your donations have on those who are not as fortunate as us? What are the rewards of giving charity? In order to provide feedback, we have 3 very important programmes coming up in March, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. Please make sure you put these dates into your diary now.
Our annual charity presentation for Men will take place on Saturday 19th March after Maghrib Ṣalāh (6:26pm) in Jaame Masjid, Cumberland St., Blackburn.
The following day, Sunday 20th March, our annual charity presentation for Ladies will take place at the same venue, at 1:30pm, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. Food will be served to all the guests after both programmes.
Then on Friday 25th March, our annual charity DVD presentations will take place on our YouTube channel, from 9pm to 10pm, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. More details will be sent closer to the time, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
The purpose of this message today is so that you can slot the dates into your phone/diary now so that you can keep those times free. I sincerely hope you will be able to take part in the programmes and support this local charity of yours, at all times.
