‘Eid ul-Fiṭr Ṣalāh 2021 & Palestine

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Sunday 16th May 2021.

Let’s talk about ‘Eid ul-Fiṭr Ṣalāh 2021 & Palestine today.

During the last week, we have seen the atrocities being committed by the Israeli occupying forces against our Palestinian brothers, sisters, and children. As mentioned in my last message we, here in the UK, should do as much as we can to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

As well as making constant Du’ās and praying as much as possible for them, we should try and participate in as many protests and programmes that we can up and down the country, while ensuring that our Shar’ī obligations aren’t neglected. This is the least we can do for them.

We should also donate as much as possible to reputable charities, who are working on the ground to assist the people in their hour of need.

Brothers, sisters, and children responded very positively to my last message and within a period of 4 hours, many hundreds turned up outside the Blackburn Town Hall last Tuesday. To keep the momentum going, we dedicated our ‘Eid ul-Fiṭr Ṣalāh in the Diamond Marquee to Masjid al-‘Aqṣā and Palestine.

Today, I would like to present a brief 4 minute video of our ‘Eid ul-Fiṭr Ṣalāh. A very emotional nazam was rendered by our Nasheed Artist Mawlānā Jamāluddīn, which is being played in the background of the video.

Please pay attention to the words, which convey a very touching message. Also included is part of the Qunūt-e-Nāzilah, which was recited during the ‘Eid Ṣalāh.

Almighty Allāh liberate Masjid al-‘Aqṣā and Palestine from the occupying forces, Āmeen.
