Well Done Preston
Living just 10 miles away in Blackburn, I like to keep an eye out on what’s going on in Preston. It’s a nice little town (or city should I say) with lots and lots of good work taking place, .مَا شَآءَ الل However, Preston does have one major weakness.
The intention of my message is not to upset Prestonians. I have many friends living there and regularly visit the Masjids, .مَا شَآءَ الله Whenever I have decided to go out to eat with family and friends, it’s either Bolton, Manchester or beyond.
Obviously Blackburn is my hometown where I eat regularly, but now and then you feel like going out of town. The reason for not considering Preston? It is very difficult to find an outlet which is definitely completely Ḥalāl.
So can you imagine how happy I was when I heard of an initiative in Preston by the name of PHA (Preston Ḥalāl Awareness).
Reading and researching more into the PHA, it’s very heart warming and comforting to know that we can now come to eat in Preston with some peace of mind. PHA provide information through independent research to enable consumers to make their own informed decisions.
This is wonderful news for the Muslims of Preston and the surrounding areas. In my message today, I want to congratulate the PHA team and I pray for them from the bottom of my heart that their efforts yield fruit and genuine Ḥalāl meat & chicken becomes available in all Preston outlets.
At the same time, I want to take this opportunity to make a very humble request to all my readers to fully support this initiative and demand genuine certified Ḥalāl meat and chicken in your home town.
Why should Prestonians have to come to Blackburn for their shopping (although they are most welcome) now that they have shops on their doorstep? So come on Prestonians, we are well ahead of you when it comes to football, can you beat us when it comes to genuine Ḥalāl certified shops?
May Almighty Allāh take the PHA from strength to strength and make them 100% successful in their mission.
