The last 10 nights

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Wednesday 20th April 2022/19 Ramaḍān 1443 H.

The last 10 nights

Tomorrow (Thursday) is the 20th roza for Saudi followers and the following day is the 20th roza for Morocco followers and local moon sighters. As regards Laylat-ul-Qadr, many of us make the most of the 5 odd nights of the last 10 days.

Depending on which group you are following, the odd nights will differ. My message specifically today is for the followers of Saudi. From tomorrow (Thursday) night, make sure you value each and every night, not just the odd nights.

Keeping in mind that we Saudi followers most probably started our fasts one day earlier, it is essential that we worship The Almighty in abundance on every single night during the last 10 days to ensure we don’t miss Laylat-ul-Qadr.

This is a very special night mentioned in the Holy Qur’ān, which carries a lot of virtues and blessings. It will be a shame if we just value the odd nights according to Saudi and miss Laylat-ul-Qadr altogether.

Please share this message far and wide with all the followers of Saudi.

May The Almighty bless us all with the worship of Laylat-ul-Qadr and unite the Muslims of the UK on the correct Moon Sighting criteria, Āmeen.
