Ṣubḥ Ṣādiq (Dawn)

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Tuesday 14th July 2020. Let’s talk about ‘Ṣubḥ Ṣādiq’ today.

The previous message on the topic was written at the start of Shābān. Four months on, we are about to enter the month of Ẓūl Ḥijjah. The first 9 days of Ẓūl Ḥijjah are very blessed and there are a lot of virtues regarding the fasts of Ẓūl Ḥijjah. Once again, I would like to reiterate the message above.

In some parts of the UK, there is a huge issue around when Ṣubḥ Ṣādiq, which is the time from when our fast begins, occurs. All of the Muslim world and a number of towns and cities of the UK follow the 18 degrees time for Ṣubḥ Ṣādiq. The only exception are the followers of the Hizbul ꜤUlamā mushāhadah (UK sightings).

A humble request to all to look into this very important issue and ensure you start your fast at the correct time. The 18 degrees timetable for each and every town and city of the UK is available on the Wifāqul ꜤUlamā UK website www.wifaqululama.co.uk; please download it for your town or city, and follow it.

Almighty Allāh give us all the correct understanding of His Dīn, Āmeen.
