Pearls of Wisdom in the Balkans 2024 – Part 4
I started this series of accounts of our Balkans journey with Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Bilāl Ṣāḥib and then came along the visit to Sicily and Bulgaria with Shaykh ul-Islam Mufti Muḥammad Taqī Usmāni Ṣāḥib.
Let’s go back to the Balkans again. Having Shaykh ul-Ḥadīth Mawlānā Bilāl Ṣāḥib with us made the journey extra special and beneficial. Every now and then, on the coach, we would benefit from Mawlānā Bilal’s words of wisdom.
All the colleagues on the coach listened very attentively to Mawlānā Bilāl Ṣāḥib and each and every one formed that special attachment with him.
For those who know him, and those who don’t, Mawlānā Bilal is a very simple down-to-earth individual. His spirituality shines in his humbleness. In the presence of his students he would never show his authority, but just become like one of them.
As we travelled along, we heard some more pearls of wisdom, which I would like to share with the readers and listeners.
