No need to cook on Saturday

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Friday 22nd April/21 Ramaḍān 1443H.

No need to cook on Saturday

A wonderful opportunity has come up for all our sisters of Blackburn and beyond to take a day off from cooking tomorrow (Saturday). Our Sisters 4 Sisters (S4S) organisation has set up a fundraising event at Bangor Community Centre from 2pm to 5pm, where there will be 25 stalls selling a variety of different items, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.

There will be the usual, almost compulsory, food offerings such as Biryaani, Nan Ghosh, Dal Chawal, Haleem, Jalebi, Milk Cakes, Bakes, a variety of savouries & desserts, etc., which you can buy for Ifṭār. There will also be stalls selling abayas, gifts, toys, jewellery, frames, sweets, Islamic books, tasbeehs, mugs, candles, flowers, personalised gifts, etc.

Our S4S organisation will be donating the funds for ‘Eid Gift Packs in Bangladesh. For just £5, you can make a poor family in Bangladesh smile on ‘Eid day. There will also be sisters collecting donations for our MWI projects on the day. A rare opportunity for sisters to give their donations, especially their Ṣadaqat-ul-Fitr, directly.

A humble request to all the sisters not to miss this wonderful opportunity of buying their Ramaḍān and ‘Eid essentials all under one roof and at the same time provide ‘Eid Gift Packs to needy families.

Please share this message with all your contacts. Sisters from nearby towns like Accrington, Burnley, Bolton, Clitheroe and Preston are also welcome.

May The Almighty make the event a complete success and may He through His Infinite Grace and Mercy make this coming ‘Eid ul-Fiṭr a means of happiness and joy for Muslims all over the world, Āmeen.
