Golden Advice to Married Couples – Part 1

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Saturday 23rd January 2021.

Today, I intend to start on a ‘4-part series’ on the theme of ‘Golden Advice to Married Couples (or About to Get Married)’

Our charity, the Muslim Welfare Institute (MWI), has been financing group wedding programmes in India since 2007, ‏مَا شَآءَ الله. There are hundreds of thousands of families in many remote areas of India, who do not possess the means to get their daughters married. This year, our group weddings programme has been organised for Sunday 7th February, during which 300 couples will be tying the knot, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.

Every year, a few weeks prior to the weddings programme, an educational seminar takes place, where the prospective brides and grooms are given guidance on how to lead a happy married life. Due to the numbers, this year, the seminar was split over 4 sessions, with 75 couples attending each one.

A 2-minute video clip from each session will accompany this special ‘4-part series’. Each video is different and includes some very precious advice. Let’s start today with part 1.

Please share widely, as this will be very beneficial to all.

Almighty Allāh give us all the correct guidance and right understanding, Āmeen.
