Let’s talk about ‘Euro 2021’ today.
As most football fans up and down the country are aware, 3 weeks of football craze started on Friday. I have touched upon the topic of football in my previous posts.
Under no circumstances at all should we let football dominate our lives. Many games will be taking place in the evening, which will clash with ‘Aṣr and Maghrib Ṣalāhs with Jamā’ah. Make sure you give priority to Ṣalāh with Jamā’ah above football.
Almighty Allāh has already destined the result, hence it is not going to change by you watching and missing Ṣalāh. The best way forward is to enjoy the moment and move on.
Remember, the match will be over in 90 minutes and the tournament will be all over in 3 weeks. However, Neglect of Ṣalāh with Jamā’ah will be recorded, which we will have to answer for on the Day of Judgement.
The real victory will be for those who are granted entrance into Jannat ul-Firdaus in the Hereafter. That is when our real celebrations will begin, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
Almighty Allāh grant us all the ability to always give priority to our religion, Āmeen.
