Today I would like to give you A Brief Introduction to Tomorrow’s Annual Charity Presentation.
Formed in 1992, the Muslim Welfare Institute (MWI) started its journey with the publication of a 4-sided monthly magazine by the name of UNITY. We also encouraged Muslim couples to come forward for adoption and fostering. Our work in Albania started in 1993, and expanded to Bangladesh and India in 2003.
With the Grace of Almighty Allāh and the Du’ās of our wellwishers, we went from strength to strength. From a humble annual income of £25,000, we were now receiving £250,000. West Bengal was added to our projects in 2016, Macedonia in 2018, and Bosnia in 2020.
We have also started on projects in the UK. Our annual income for 2020 was 1.5 million pounds, اَلْحَمْدُلِلّه.
Our presentation tomorrow will reflect upon our projects during the last 12 months. We will be presenting 4 very brief DVD presentations covering Albania, Bangladesh, India, and West Bengal. It really will be an eye opener.
