My focus today is on ‘The Coronavirus in India‘.
As you will be aware, the Coronavirus has taken a grip in India. Within days, millions of people have been affected. As we approach the second ‘Asharah of Ramaḍān, we want to launch a very special appeal, to assist as many covid patients as possible, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
Our partners in Aḥmedabad (Gujarāt) run the Shifā’ hospital, which has 38 beds for covid patients. All 38 beds are occupied at present. Our intention is to raise £5,000 daily for the next 10 days, which will give us £50,000 to donate to the Shifā’ hospital, to treat the covid patients, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
As you are already donating your Zakāt, Sadaqah and Lillāh during this month, please continue with those donations and keep this project separate. We need 2000 brothers and sisters to donate just £25 each to this special appeal and we will hit our target, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
