Hope you are well.
Almighty Allāh has blessed us here in the UK with a beautiful opportunity to unite on the issue of Moon Sighting.
Next Wednesday 29th June is the 29th of Ẓūl Qā’dah 1443H for Saudi Arabia, Morocco and the UK. It is *an ideal opportunity for all of us to unite on the local UK only criteria, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
A very humble request to:
- Mawlānā ‘Abdur Rashid Rabbani (Jam’īat ul-‘Ulamā UK)
- Mawlānā Yā’qūb Miftahi (Hizbul ‘Ulamā UK)
- Mawlānā Ayyūb Bande Ilahi (Wifāqul ‘Ulamā UK)
- Mufti Yūsuf Sacha (Batley Moon Sighting Committee)
… to come together and unite. This will mean that 100% of Deobandīs will be united on one criteria.
If this is achieved, we can then request our ‘Ulamā from the Barēlwī school of thought to adopt the same criteria, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
One of the sticking points of uniting on the local UK only criteria was ‘which is the correct 29th day according to the UK?’. This issue does not arise next Wednesday as it is the 29th for all 3 countries.
Please can all the ‘Ulamā and Masjid committee members give this issue priority this week and encourage our above mentioned 4 leaders to unite us on this issue.
May The Almighty make this task easy and fulfil our dreams of unity, Āmeen.
