The Chance of a Lifetime

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Wednesday 22nd March 2023 / 30 Sha’bān 1444H.

The Chance of a Lifetime – make sure you come out to try and sight the moon tonight.

Regardless of which criteria you follow for Moon Sighting, a chance of a lifetime is knocking on your door today. In the whole Muslim world, today is either 29 Sha’bān or 30 Sha’bān.

We here in the UK have been blessed with a golden opportunity to try and sight the 1st moon of Ramaḍān with our own eyes. Yes, correct … with our own eyes. The moon is expected to be on the UK horizon for about 70 minutes.

It only takes a few seconds break in the cloud to sight the moon. Therefore, regardless of who you follow, make sure you come out today and fulfil this Sunnah of trying to sight the moon in our own country.

Wifāqul ‘Ulamā and the New Crescent Society have a lot of material on their websites, which will guide you on where and how to look for the moon and where and how to report a positive or negative sighting.

Please don’t miss this opportunity. If the moon is sighted in the UK tonight, then the whole of the UK will be starting Ramaḍān together, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. What a wonderful feeling of unity and blessings we will have.

We need everyone to come out and make an effort to sight the crescent. If we cover each and every town and city of the UK, then someone somewhere will sight, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.

There is a moon sighting section on my blog as well, https://hdreflections.com/category/moon-sighting/.

Please let this message of mine go viral today.
