Pearls of Wisdom in The Balkans
On Tuesday 24th September, a group of 45 travelled to Albania & Macedonia. The trip was organised by the Muslim Welfare Institute (MWI), who have been working on the ground in Albania since 1993. The purpose of the visit was to meet the Balkan Muslims and see some of the charity’s projects.
It was a privilege and honour for us at the MWI that our respected teacher, Shaikh ul-Ḥadīth Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Bilal Ṣāḥib, مدظله العالی, agreed to lead the group and joined us on what turned out to be a most memorable journey; one that all of us will cherish for a very long time to come.
One of the many highlights of the visit was the natural gems that flowed from the tongue of Mawlānā Bilal Ṣāḥib on our 55-seater coach during the journey. The Balkans are absolutely beautiful, breathtaking scenery with mountains, greenery, and lakes flowing in between.
The scenery comforted the eyes whilst Mawlānā’s words of wisdom comforted the hearts and the souls. We were blessed to have these pearls recorded, اَلْحَمْدُلِلّه. It is only fair that others also benefit.
The impromptu talks will be shared over the next few days, in bite sized chunks, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. For the benefit of the readers, part 1 which is just over 3 minutes long accompanies this message.
