Music In Islam

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

It’s Saturday 18th July 2020. My chosen topic today is ‘Music in Islam’.

This very important issue was touched upon in my post dated 3rd April, in which I specifically mentioned the music being played in weddings. However, our religion completely forbids music, regardless of the occasion or the circumstances. This also includes Nasheeds which have background music.

Musical instruments are the tools of the shaytān, through which he indulges mankind into committing sins. Therefore, please keep all your weddings, functions and social gatherings free from music.

Almighty Allāh protect us all from all kinds of sins, Āmeen.
