Make The Most Of Your Ḥajj
As the Hujjāj start to depart for the Holy Lands, I wanted to take this opportunity to request all brothers and sisters travelling for Ḥajj to ensure they make the most use of the time they have been blessed with.
It really is a shame that both Haramayn are surrounded by shopping centres and complexes, which are very speedily becoming the centre of attraction. After Isha, instead of remaining in the Harams, many people head to the shopping areas.
This must not be the case. Yes, of course, you want to buy gifts and presents for your near and dear ones at home. However, all that should be done in as little time as possible.
Maybe set aside a few hours in Makkah al-Mukarramah and a few hours in Madinah al-Munawwarah and get your shopping done. Limit yourself to just that time.
Spend the rest of your time in the Haramayn. Remember, you have spent thousands of pounds to get to these Blessed Lands. You do not know whether you will be blessed with another visit or not.
Make the most of each and every second. Time will fly past and very soon it will be time to return. You will then regret the time you wasted in the shopping areas. The majority of the items sold in the Blessed Lands are available in shopping centres in our own towns and cities.
The best gifts are Khajoor, ZamZam, Musallahs, Tasbihs, Jubbahs and Perfumes. They can be bought within hours.
May The Almighty grant all the Hujjaj a Maqbool Ḥajj and Mabroor Ziarah, Āmeen.
Please share this message with all who are travelling for Ḥajj and ‘Umrah as well.
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
