Another Year Ends……
As we approach the end of 2023, another year of our life has decreased. It was like yesterday when we started 2023; time is flying past. In just over 2 months it will be Ramaḍān again, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
My message today is to remind all my readers about the value of time. Each and every second that is passing by is so precious. The same second will never return again. We have all been blessed with Īmān and good health, which are our most important assets.
Everything else comes afterwards. Protect your Īmān and the Īmān of your children and grandchildren. It is the ultimate certificate that will guarantee entry into Jannat ul-Firdaus , اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
Our health is such a valuable gift from The Almighty, we will never be able to even come close to thanking Him enough. 10 days ago I was in Yorkshire when after Ẓuhr Ṣalāh a brother came to meet me but didn’t say anything.
Another brother passing by told me that the brother was dumb and deaf and hardly missed one Ṣalāh, سُبْحَانَ الله. Have we ever pondered upon the gift of speech and hearing?
So as we enter 2024, let’s make a fresh start and make the most of this life in preparation for the Hereafter.
For my Blackburn readers, we have a very special programme on this subject this coming Friday, 29th December, before Jumu’ah Ṣalāh at Masjid-e-Anwaar on Granville Rd here in Blackburn.
Shaikh Yunus Dudhwala of London will start his talk at 11:50am, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. The Jumu’ah Ṣalāh will take place at 12:30. Our youth very rarely get the opportunity to listen to Jumu’ah Bayāns due to their education and work commitments.

May The Almighty grant us all the ability to value time and earn as many rewards as possible for the Hereafter, Āmeen.
