السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It’s Sunday 14th June 2020. My chosen topic today is ‘A Wonderful Ṣadaqah Jāriah Opportunity in Albania‘.
We started working in Albania in 1993, مَا شَآءَ الله, and over the last 27 years, initiated a number of projects. Although we have constructed a number of Masjids and a small Madrasah, we have never had to buy a building to carry out our work, choosing instead to rent buildings, as it was a cheap option.
In 2019, we decided to buy our first building in Albania, that too, in the capital city, Tirana. The building, comprising 10 rooms over 3 floors, cost us £200,000. Our first donors were a family from Dewsbury, مَا شَآءَ الله, who donated £100,000 as Ṣadaqah Jāriah for their Marḥūm brother.
The next donor was a mother from Blackburn, with £30,000 for the Ṣadaqah Jāriah of all her Marḥūmīn, مَا شَآءَ الله. Our third, from Preston, donated £15,000 for the Ṣadaqah Jāriah of his paternal grandfather who had passed away just a few days before. مَا شَآءَ الله we had raised £145,000 from just 3 donors.
We were then approached by a friend from Blackburn whose mother was about to have a major operation. The mother donated £15,000 the day before her operation مَا شَآءَ الله. As we entered Ramaḍān, a family from Bolton contributed £10,000 as Ṣadaqah Jāriah for their family. Thereafter, a mother from Nuneaton gave £5,000 as Ṣadaqah Jāriah for her Marḥūmīn. سُبْحَانَ الله, a staggering £175,000 Lillāh from just 6 donors.
Coming to the point, please do not take this message as a fundraiser. If you have an intention of having a Ṣadaqah Jāriah carried out for your Marḥūmīn, then this is your golden opportunity. One family donating £25,000 will hit our target. Alternatively, 5 families giving £5,000 will take us to our goal.
‘Ṣadaqah Jāriah’ is an ‘ongoing reward‘. Until our building, ‘Dārul Arqam Education Complex’ serves our beautiful religion in Albania, Allāh Almighty will give the same rewards to the ones in whose name the Ṣadaqah Jāriah was performed.
