السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It’s Wednesday 8th May 2024 / 29 Shawwal 1445H
Welcome to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa
By the Grace and Mercy of Almighty Allāh, Blackburn has been blessed by another Masjid, اَلْحَمْدُلِلّه. Situated on Emerald Street in the heart of the Roe Lee/Brownhill area, Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa is a flagship project of the Muslim Welfare Institute (MWI).
As the building has been a nursery for over 30 years, it can be utilised as a place of worship. However, we are in the process of submitting a full application for a Masjid and Madrasah.
At present, we are offering ‘Ishā Ṣalāh with Jamā’ah and soon will be starting ‘Aṣr and Maghrib, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ. Tonight (Wednesday 8th May) is a very special night at our Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
The very first lesson of The Holy Qur’ān will be delivered in the English language by Mufti Hanif Patel, the Principal of Madrasah Vali. ‘Ishā Jamā’ah is at 10:15pm and the lesson will take place immediately after the 4 Farḍ.
It will be for 15 minutes only. My humble request to the Roe Lee & Brownhill residents specifically, and the youth of Blackburn generally, please do not to miss this memorable occasion.
The poster accompanies this message. Please come personally and share the message far and wide.
May The Almighty accept Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and make it a means of our forgiveness in the Hereafter, Āmeen.
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
