Pearls of Wisdom in The Balkans – Part 3

Soon after enrolling at Dārul Uloom Bury in 1982, I was blessed to meet Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Bilal Ṣāḥib, and got to know him from then. All of Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā’s students will vouch for the simplicity and humbleness of Mawlānā, ‏مَا شَآءَ الله.

I recall the days in Dārul Uloom Bury when there was an urgent need to renovate the whole attic area. Mawlānā Bilal Ṣāḥib personally took the lead role. Dressed in workman’s overalls, no one would know that this was a Shaykh ul-Ḥadīth working away day and night, until the whole attic was renovated.

That was back in the 80s. Fast track 30 years, the same Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Bilal Ṣāḥib in workman’s overalls will be seen working away at the Markazul Uloom here in Blackburn, every Saturday afternoon.

Such a humble personality was amongst our midst in the Balkans, during this memorable journey. Today is part 3 of Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā’s Pearls of Wisdom.

Please share with your contacts far and wide.
