السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It’s Monday 8th June 2020. Let’s talk about ‘Meeting Our Creator‘ today.
Imagine you woke up today and received a special recorded delivery letter from the postman which you had to sign for. You wasted no time in opening it, finding an invitation from Her Majesty The Queen to attend her annual tea party, inside the envelope.
Although it is the 8th of June today, and the invitation is for sometime in September, hand on heart, you would start your preparations from today. You would immediately book that day off from work and start your planning. In a nutshell, the overriding thoughts in your mind, every single day for the next 3 months, would be regarding this tea party invite.
Fast forwarding to the big day, you may just get a glimpse of the Queen, and that too, for only a few seconds. If you are very lucky then maybe a selfie, and that’s about it. Now, let’s ponder upon the reality of our life.
Although we all believe in death, we always think that it is so distant. Whether young or old, ill or healthy, for some reason, we think our death is very far away. If there is one major lesson we have learnt from this coronavirus, it surely is that death could be just round the corner for us.
Here comes the main point of this message.
- Are we prepared to meet with our Creator?
- Are all preparations in place?
- No sins for which we haven’t repented?
- No rights of our fellow human beings outstanding?
- All debts cleared?
- Will prepared?
Remember, this is not a meeting with The Queen. This is the meeting with The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, The Creator of kings and queens, The All Powerful and All Knowing. Each and everyone of us should be ready and prepared.
Let us start preparing, and prepare fast. That first meeting with the Lord of the Worlds should be a very happy and joyful one. We should be looking forward to it.
Almighty Allāh prepare us all for this wonderful meeting with our Creator, Āmeen.
