السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It’s Sunday 12th July 2020. Let’s talk about ‘Chatting with the Opposite Sex on the Mobile‘ today.
This expands upon my first message on the 26th of March on the same subject, an issue which has, unfortunately, become very common today. Our beautiful SharīꜤah has set the limits for our betterment and safety, deeming intermingling of the sexes as impermissible.
Today, the mobile phone and social media gadgets have broken all barriers and limits. There is so much chatting and communication, which is completely unlawful, going on as if it is normal. In the previous post, a humble request was made that we immediately delete all the non-Maḥram contacts that we have in our phones, in order to protect ourselves.
Have we all acted upon it? If not, why? Ponder over it. Remember, one thing leads to another. It will all start with an innocent salam and Du’ā, and before you know it, you will be in a relationship. It’s not just Ḥarām to meet with a non-Maḥram in private; it is also Ḥarām to chat with them on the mobile phone.
It will be very degrading for us on the Day of Judgement when these so called private messages and communication will be revealed in front of the whole of mankind. Stop now while you have the chance.
Almighty Allāh protect us all from the sins of chatting with non-Maḥrams, Āmeen.
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
Request for DuꜤās
