Are We Not Bothered About Masjid al-‘Aqṣā And Palestine Anymore?
A friend once said to me that we Muslims are like a bottle of Coca Cola. The more you shake it, the more fizz comes out, after which, it goes completely flat. This can be compared to the reaction of our Muslims.
As soon as they hear that something has happened to the Muslims in any part of the world, they will go crazy in response for a few days. Thereafter, fade into silence and go back to their own lives again.
I believed in this, but thought it would not be the case with Masjid al-‘Aqṣā and Palestine. How wrong I was. Our requests to come out in thousands to protest outside BAE Samlesbury and Barclays Blackburn fell on deaf years.
With a Muslim population of over 50,000 collectively in Blackburn and Preston, maybe 50 turn up on a regular basis. Let’s put that to one side for now. What’s happened to all our Masjid programmes?
Qur’ān recitations? Bukhārī Sharīf Khatams? Duas? Awareness Programmes, etc.? It really is a sorry situation. The Help of The Almighty will not come, unless we are consistent in our actions. Jannah is not that cheap.
Thousands of lives are being sacrificed for Islām. What will we have to show for on the Day of Judgement? A Palestinian mother will say to Almighty Allāh, I lost all my family members who were trying to save Masjid al-‘Aqṣā and Palestine.
What are we going to say? It’s time to wake up and realise what the need of the time is. National protests are ongoing regularly, and local protests on a weekly basis. These will continue, until this brutal genocide and occupation ends, اِنْ شَاءَ الَّلهُ.
The question is, will you also be part of it or not?
May The Almighty grant us all the correct guidance and give us the ability to do as much as we can for Masjid al-‘Aqṣā and Palestine, Āmeen.
Please share this message far and wide.
